Born British but a New Zealander at heart. ‘Hello there! As a small child I had the most wonderful English teacher in Mrs Garfield. She was about a million years old, wore huge glasses and carried a bag the size of a small swimming pool. I loved her writing class. I loved writing. Then lost it, lost the joy. Now I look like Mrs Garfield and find I’m reconnecting with that lost love. Ah … the cycles of life!
