Parvati was born and raised in New Zealand and has lived in West Auckland all her 41 years of married life. Has raised three sons of whom she is very proud of. She is a teacher aide and has been for the last 26 years, a job which she finds very enjoyable and rewarding. Loves to read, sew, knit and indulge and dabble in other general craft work. She joined Waitakere Writers through the recommendation of a friend. It has helped her grow in confidence. She enjoys the challenge of writing prose and poetry each month.
